I am taking it again on Thursday to see if I can bring up my points. I did better on the practice test than the actual one. I thought I would be able to relax this week, but now I have to study again.

I wonder how smicr's retake went. I think if I even get one more point I will be happy. I would hate to retake it only to be in the same spot.

I just returned from WC and turing in the application. It looks like I will be at 18 points. I ended up with 80-ish in everything but science (70 something). I would recommend to all: brush up on chem, algebra (order of operations, percents), and your English grammar rules. When I turned it in she said that 18 was "about what it took last year, but you never know. It all depends on the other applicants."

I am not going to worry. There is nothing I can do now except wait. Ugh. At least it is over!

Call it wishfull thinking, but since they changed to the teas v test scores are down 10%. Do you think that the points this year might be down as well.

I have been reading about the lower scores with the v test. I hope so. I am not stupid but this test makes me feel this way. I hate second guessing myself. I know how to use the English language! But I only scored an 80. I had maximum points for the GPA and pre-reqs. I don't really know who else to ask. I hope she was right about the 18s getting in. I wish there was a way to check. Getting a 17 and 18 seems like it would be the same as getting a 20-21 with the prior tests (hoping).

I think they used the V during the last app period? If you haven't already, check out the fall 2011 weatherford thread. They have alot of their scores posted along with who got in. Might give you some idea of where you stand. :)

Hi, i am still on vacation, just found some internet after weeks of no phone/internet signal. I am loving vacation, have seen several bears in Glacier National Park (and hiked with a few :)

I only have 16 points going into spring apps, i know that is not going to cut it, but I just have to try for fall.

When i talked with Karen, she said they were still accepting Teas 4 version for this application period, but this would be the last.

Student213, I did not get to do a retest, just one. I left for vacation the next day and i won't return until the application deadline is over... that stinks for me.

I am sure with the lower scores that 18 adn possibly 17's will get in, that test is just sooooooo hard.

Talk to everyone in a week, by then the application period is over and there is nothing that can be done but study and retest for Fall!!!

YIKES - we fell to page two guys. I did my retake and now I am at 20 points. Much better than last time. I hope more people will get on here now that the app period ends today.

Congrats Student213, looks like you're a shoe-in for the spring program with 20 pts! I didn't do as well as I had hoped on the Teas, so I remain at 16 pts :cry: . Looks like I'll be taking contemporary math to bring my GPA up on my prereqs. That will put me at 18 pts and I plan on taking the TEAS again...so I guess I'll have to wait until next Fall

If you don't get in this time around then 18 points would be great for the fall. Plus, if you retake the TEAS you could get even more. I wish they took more people for the spring.
