Weatherford College ADN or LVN spring 2016

Anyone applying for spring 2016? I know its still early but just wanted to get a feel for "competitive points" since the system has changed within the last year. I only have 26 for ADN so I don't know if I will make the cut. Plan B is to apply to LVN because I would have about 12 of their required points then do the transition program (LVN to ADN). So ready to start taking nursing classes! Good luck to everyone!

I'm also getting antsy to hear back about our applications over the next week or two, if anyone gets a letter let me know?!

Sorry my iPad is acting crazy! 6 weeks from 7/31 should put letters to be going out around....9/11 but I know with certain schools and the mail system it will prob tack on an extra week or 2..... I soooooo desperately hope I get into a program, I am so ready to get my nursing classes started!! Praying for everyone! Best of luck!!!

Yay! Lol I haven't turned mine in yet for the LVN I wanted to take the compass test seminar on the 18th before I take the compass test to get a feel for what I will be looking at. I know I will be squeezing in there but KL said not to even worry about it that they don't have a whole lot of apps in for the LVN program yet because everyone usually waits until that last week to submit

So you will actually be applying for the fall 2016 program then right? Cut offs for the spring ADN is July 31st according to the website

Anyone gone to do their cpr?

Not yet, mine actually expired a few months ago so I need to have it renewed. I got my denial letter for the spring ADN program today, my points were low but I was atleast going to try. :( :( :( So now I'm really shooting for acceptance in the LVN but I know those letters won't be out for awhile.

Yea cuz the deadline isn't until the end of the month for the LVN program. I found one place there not far from campus called medders health and they do cpr classes for $50 I was thinking about going there. That sucks :/ but like you said keep your head up
