I created this forum, for us pre-Nursing students, finishing up our prereqs and preparing for the HESI and admittance into the Nursing program for 2015! Let's keep each other motivated and driven. We can do it! Hope to hear from my fellow school mates :-)

Hi, does anyone know general biology 155, GPA count towards your overall gpa.or its count towards your program as will. By reading the nursing package it's say they only count 5 pre_req course. Does anyone know which 5course wcccd gonna count towards your program?

Hi, just wondering when the last day to apply for the nursing school is? I took all my pre reqs already and I am going next week to get the packet. thanks.

If you've taken the HESI then your all set just get the packet and apply. Just make sure you have everything though, once I finish BIO 155 and take the HESI I'll be all set.

Oh, ok thanks, I just thought there was a deadline to apply. So I can take the HESI in a couple months and apply around April?

Yes, and there is a deadline so check and there is an informational meeting to attend as well.

Hello,

Would anyone be able to convey the text titles for the pre-requisites and course calendars?

I understand Sylvia Mader's "Biology" is required for BIO 155 Introductory Biology.

However, I am unable to locate the required text titles and course calendars on the WCCCD website for:

1. ENG 119 English I

2. BIO 240 Anatomy & Physiology

3. BIO 250 Anatomy & Physiology II

4. BIO 295 Microbiology

5. PSY 101 Introductory Psychology

The only information I am able to locate on the WCCCD website are the official syllabi here:

Any fall 2015 students here? I will be starting the 2nd 7.5 weeks in October. I had to extend my medical leave for the whole year. Just wanted to know if there were any clinical on the east side? Went to speak with the dean but she said they had some technical problems and I couldn't sign up till Monday. Just wanted to know if anyone had info! í ½í±í ¼í¿»í ½í±Œí ¼í¿»í ½í¸€

Can I still get in if I have a 78 in Math, 85 in Anatomy and 74 in Reading? I have a 3.8 in my pre reqs and a 3.4 overall. nursing department said take it over but can I still apply and get accepted?

Can you still get in with a 74? I got the same exact score!!!!! Did you apply for the program anyway?!

If they told u to retake it then I wouldn't apply because they will deny u. Believe me they ask me and about 5 others who missed it by 1 point to apply and then they end up denying us all

I have a 3.4 90 in math 86 in reading and 76 in AP with a 84 average. Should I have high expectations for this coming Spring '16 semester
