  1. Yes, that is happening later this year at my location as well.
  2. I have to write my proficiency next week. I am currently A nurse 1. Can someone please send me their proficiency or any assistance? Thank you [email protected]
  3. Only 2 years of experience and yes I have been told the same. It will suck taking that big pay cut when covid is over. I have a feeling they are giving all the new hires the maximum grade and step to cover for the surge/crisis pay that other hospitals are offering. The hospital I will be leaving from was giving us all $20 an hour extra for crisis pay. IDK will have to wait and find out.
  4. Process was very quick. I filled out my online application online on 3/26 and got a email from the recruiter the same day! Interview was 5 days later. It took about 3 weeks from start to finish because of the COVID compared to 4-8 months people have been posting in here. Some questions were. A time you were in a tough situation and how you handled it. Coworker is gossiping about you, what would you do? A time you went above and beyond for a patient. I can only remember these 3.
  5. Interview was over facetime and the managers had a piece of paper in front of them that they just went over and asked me random questions. I cant remember the questions they asked me sorry LOL. I felt like I bombed it but I think they needed some nurses bad so they hired me basically the same day.
  6. I got the job at the Ann Arbor location. They also put me as nurse II level 12 which is a crazy amount of money compared to my last job. Almost $30k more. I wonder how long we will be getting the salary for and hopefully they don't take too much of it away from us.
  7. Because of the COVID the whole process from applying online to the job offer was less than 1 month.
  8. Oh, ok thanks, I just thought there was a deadline to apply. So I can take the HESI in a couple months and apply around April?
  9. Hi, just wondering when the last day to apply for the nursing school is? I took all my pre reqs already and I am going next week to get the packet. thanks.
  10. Any tips for the hesi exam?
  11. So if you get rejected in the spring then can you apply for fall the same year?
  12. Does the nursing program only take students once a year or is it twice??
