Future RN's!

I created this forum, for us pre-Nursing students, finishing up our prereqs and preparing for the HESI and admittance into the Nursing program for 2015! Let's keep each other motivated and driven. We can do it! Hope to hear from my fellow school mates :-)

I've been accepted in the LPN program through Oakland Un, hut Im studying for the HESI also considering the RN progran at WCCCD or OCC. Any help on hoe to study?

I have a question for those who have already taken the Hesi exam....I called the nursing office today and they told me that you can only register for the Hesi the first 5 consecutive days in the month that you want to test in. Is this true? I can see through webgate that students have already registered for the test date I want ; which only leads me to believe that I don't have to wait to register. According to the Nurse Information Packet you are suppose to go on webgate and register for the exam as well as pay the $40.00 testing fee. Can anyone shed light on this situation please? There are only a limited number of testing spots and I don't want to have to wait until the last minute to get my test date situated. Thank you in advance!

Hi Dream28, when I registered for the exam, we were only able to register during the first 5 consecutive days as well. However, we did not register on webgate ourselves. We registered in person at the nursing office and they would have someone put the information onto webgate. All we did on webgate was pay the $40.00. I would call back and make sure that you can register on webgate yourself because i'm pretty sure they still want to see your transcript before you register for the exam.

How do you register in webgate..

Thank for responding so quickly. The person I spoke with did tell me that they wanted to see my transcripts before I could register for the exam. I only questioned what I was been told because I see other students have already enrolled for the same test day I want. But I will follow directions as I'm told lol. Thanks

From the information that I have gathered thus far your testing spot is not official unless you go to the nursing office the first 5 consecutive days of the month in which you want to test and register with the nursing office. You have to bring your unofficial transcripts, and school ID. I image that you will need to have the $40.00 testing fee on hand as well, but I'm not 100% certain on that.

You can register online but that does not count fpr anything you have to have a signed form. Its true you can only register the first 5 days of the month in person. Make sure you bring your transcripts and ID so they can make sure you took Eng and A&P and they will get you signed up! You also just pay the 40$ online.

Thank you for clarifying I appreciate it!

Thanks for the heads up ladies.
