Hi! Everyone, i'm new to the blogging stuff and its my first time writing messages
but i'm also applying for the WCCCD nursing program this month for the fall 2014 semester and i'm super excited!!
i did very well on the Hesi exam, finished all my pre-req at wcccd, have health care experience and several certifications. i cant wait to apply, i wish everyone good luck on being accepted.....i'll keep everyone posted on my journey!!
AnGB, you may want to wait to take the hesi still you take A&P II since the hesi has an A&P section. I found my A&P II class to be very helpful for me on the Hesi but that may just be me! Personally the reading comprehension was the easiest part for me on the hesi so I just reviewed a couple of reading comprehension practice problems online and from the admission assessment Elsevier review book. The math in this book also is very good review, if you can do all the math problems in that book than you should do fine in the math section. Good luck to you when you take the Hesi!:)
Yea I agree
for me the hesi test was not as hard as people say it is. I also reviewed from the hesi review book from book store, which was very helpful! I had to relearn the math all over again. I went online a google practice problems for math problems I felt like I need more help with. And that really helped a lot. I also downloaded apps on my phone the math and A&P section, so were ever I went I could review. And another thing I went on YouTube and google people ( teachers, students ect..) that actually worked out the problem and sometimes they gave helpful hints or short cuts for getting through the problem. I even went to a tutor in the LRC building, he was somewhat helpful but I just decided it was really for me, so I studied on my own, but the YouTube really helped!!!!!
