HA! My post was going to be about the long awaited "letter". I am not waiting for the letter for Fall, but my turn will come up for January. I am sitting here thinking it is JULY 10! Where are the darn letters? :angryfire

Did you already apply? Someone who answered the phone last month at the nursing office said by the end of July we would get our letters. Other students already in the program said it should be coming any time. I bet they are all stamped and sitting on someone's desk waiting for someone else to stick them in the mail box??

No, I haven't applied yet. I plan on doing it August 23rd. From what I hear the wait can be hard. They say for the January session, we would find out between November and December (after you guys have 1 semester down and 3 to go )

You are positive !! Well I wish you all the luck. Make sure you print out both pages on that background check. It can be easily overlooked. Make sure you have good reference letters and don't forget your essay. You will do fine I am sure. Keep in touch with me, maybe I can give you some pointers after I get in, hopefully I am getting in. The wait is hard, but it is part of the process I suppose. You wait for so long and then finally get your good news. I will post on here as soon as I find out either way.

Hello everyone!!! I'm new to this forum. I had a problem. I wanted to go thru the online class for A & P 1 this fall '06 but it was already close. Does anyone know how to get in the waiting seat? Cause I saw online it says waiting seats. Geez, I really need to get in the class for online for A & P 1 so I can take the part 2 in jan '06 and apply... please, any suggestions?

WCCCD does not maintain waitlists for classes (from what I was told 2 semesters ago). Call the admissions office to confirm this.

I am taking A & P 1 online this summer and it is ok but the teacher that is teaching it this fall is awesome. You just have to keep checking back (probably everyday) to see if someone drops the class.

Hello everyone, I was on the NW campus today and a student who is also waiting for the letter checked with the nursing department and they told her that the letters should arrive to everyone by Friday of this week. I would assume by July 14,or 15, we should have an answer.

I Have A & P 2 right now. I also had him for A & P 1. He is AWESOME!!!!! I have a new found respect and awe for the human body because of the way he teaches. In class, I feel like a sponge soaking up every word he is saying. I got an a in A & P 1 and currently, my average is 92% in A & P 2. Basically, take notes, attend class/lab, and study. I tried not to just memorize, but I actually tried to learn the information. Everything ties in together at one point or another.

You will love the class. I am sad it is going to end soon.

yeah, i called the office and they said the same thing, keep checking... and that's what im doing ryt now... im a new mom that's why i need to get the online class sooo bad... in this way, i can tke A &P 2 in winter and im all set to apply for the nursing program...

When did they start A and P I online?? This must be new. I would recommend you take this class on campus. It is a very involved class. It has a lab also. I don't know how to help you with the wait list thing, but I would recommend you take this in a classroom. Both A and P I and II are very involved classes, I could not imagine taking them online. I have taken 4 classes online so far. I am done with my pre req's and to all those who are still taking them, I wish you the best of luck. I know some people's schedule's are very busy, but the science classes are kind of tough and sometimes being in a classroom with other students helps out a lot. Good luck to you.

thanks for the advise... but since im a new mom... i will take the risk, haha... anyway, im taking micro online class ryt now... it's tough but i can manage it... so i guess this will be a fall class and more time to read than a summer class... worse to worse if i cant get in the online, yeah, i will take the on-campus in order to complete the pre-req...

Ummm, to day is the 12th.... . What happened to maybe getting the letters on the 13th or 14th? I would even give it till next week! Don't sweat yourself. :roll Okay, please remind me of this post let's say November or December?
