Waubonsee Community College-- Starting in Fall

Hey everyone!! I just found out last week that I got accepted into Waubonsee Community College's nursing program!! I will be starting in October. Has anyone gone there? Any advice? What did your schedule look like? I am making myself crazy thinking about it. I have 3 kids that I will have to have in daycare. I wish I could know what my schedule will be now, but I won't know about the clinicals until after class starts. Any input is welcome!!!

Did you get the first "waitlist" letter? Usually it the next day. Last time they voted on the oct. 30 and the letter was sent Nov. 2.

Yes, but what do they mean by "voting"? I thought it was a lottery.

I guess I used the wrong term. They are reviewing.. that is how he said it. I dont think its a lottery I think they see who qualifies. Im holding my fingers crossed that my experience with other degrees helps. Good luck! Post let me know what happens and when you get notification!

I finished this december. I only had 4 pre-reqs(sciences). How about yourself?

So did I, and also finished in December, after taking A&P I over the summer and A&P II, Micro and Comm classes in the fall.

I took them at the sametime. Hmm i wonder if we were in the same classes? Did you have holmes for the fall?
