Watts School of Nursing June

Published

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Lady~ how long ago did you meet with her. I just met with her on Wed. I looked at iPads but ended up getting a laptop instead. I got an HP with 4gb ram and 500 hardrive for $450 with a $50 rebate so I couldn't pass that up.

For me, moodle has never changed...the front page is full of all the classes instead of just my classes. Not much help at all.

FYI,

On Amazon.com you can sign up as a student and get free two-day shipping whenever prime shipping applies. To get prime shipping, you have to pay a membership fee, but for students, it's free for a year. Also, you supposedly get notice of specials and discounts.

I just joined today, so all I've gotten so far is free shipping, but every little bit helps.

Red: met with her on Tues.

Wow, that is a great deal!! Where did you find that??

By the way, dr.c told me that they are starting a RN to BSN program! Just something to consider for future. I don't remember if she said it would be an online or seated program. I know UNC had an online program

Lady- Wow... RN to BSN program? any other details????

No, that's all she said... That it was a new program they were very excited to start. I assume they hope to get all the Watts students...

That's very interesting! Hope it happens soon!!! They could definitely count me in!!!!! :yeah:

I would be in too but not ay $ 395 a credit!!!!

Lady,

It was in the middle of the screen...said something about being

a student and getting free shipping. I guess because I was

buying several textbooks.

I'm not sure how to search for it on their website. Maybe google it

and see what comes up for Amazon student shipping?

Lady~ I got the laptop at Best Buy 2 weeks ago... it was in the ad. I really like it too. And it's mine...all mine...waaahahaha!!! :lol2:

I say go for the BSN, but I can't afford that much school.....though Cawley

said they may make it mandatory four years for RN. I hope we get done before

they approve that!
