We just have to focus on graduating and passing NCLEX first, then we ca stress about to BSN or not to BSN. I have all these mixed feelings of excitement, nervousness, terrified, what in the **** have I gotten myself into?! Anyone else with me? Too much off time to think about this stuff!

I do agree, I can't imagine it would be soon. Not just because of the shortages but because of all the hoops they will have to jump and details to cover.

Hmm... Interesting!

I guess we won't know until the time comes. I do know that a NP friend is having to go back to get her doctorate. Duke offered to grandfather her, but the catch is that she has to stay in her same position with no guarantee for x number of years. It was a commitment she didn't want to make, but I guess it could work for some.

I think the requirements or being grandfathered in would have something to do with how many years you have already been practicing. I doubt they would grandfather recent graduates. I don't think the MOC program is affiliated with Watts, but Tar might better answer that question, since he spoke with Dr. C about it in detail.

Hmm, I thought it was going to be an online program? There are many online programs out there...MOC won't be seeing one more dime from me!! Keyna: the laws might be changing requiring all nurses to have a BSN. Rouss: sorry about your steak.

How's everyone's Sunday??

Watts School of Nursing June
Yay jamm, congrats!!! Better be good though, so that you won't need it again! I wonder how Tar and the family are doing??

Watts School of Nursing June
Oh, that's a whole 'nother story. Sorry Tar, looks like you're in a tough position, but like you said, do what's best for him and you will make the right choice.

Well, if he's not in pain right now, you can hold off a bit on that decision. My second with cancer was in diapers her last year and a half. She was doing fine except incontinence. Is that possible with yours?

Watts School of Nursing June
Awe, so sorry Tar!! Is he uncomfortable? I've lost 2 dogs to cancer, so I can empathize.

Yup!!! Dunno how, but who am I to question the good Rev!! Worth the wait!!
