Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!
Tx Red and AA.
AA- I found the deal-amazon student. Gonna sign up unless i end up getting a new comp or iPad with ebooks.
Supposedly, the RN to BSN Programs are made for the working professional, which means you can work and study. Most Programs I have found are no leas than 16 months. Not too bad! Oh, and they are trying to make it mandatory for all nurses to have BSN's, so even if we become RN's before that gets approved, it's likely we will still need to get it done. I def plan on doing it...and my masters. I eventually want to be a NP. Time will tell.
anyone nervous yet?
I know someone mentioned moving from Miami, how are you adapting? I moved to Raleigh from Miami a couple of years ago and at first I had some culture shock, but learning to love it. I just need more cuban food choices!!!
BTW thanks for the heads up on the Amazon shipping!!!! Ordering my books tonight!
Nata: I'm the one from Miami!! :)
Well, so far I've only had time to unpack and try to settle in. We are trying to do one new thing every weekend, so we can get a feel for the town. I can already tell that Cuban food options are minimal, but my mom is with us and cooks great Cuban food.. I've picked up a few things here and there too.
So , curious, why did you make the move to NC? We came because of my husband's job.
Well, looks like I will be getting ebooks!! We went and got the iPad this afternoon. I sure hope I don't regret it... This thing is expensive! Phew, at least I don't have to lug all those books around!!
Cj: know your antonyms and spatial problems. Math is basic, but they're word problems, so sharpen your skills on that. Reading, you have got to be fast, so work on reading speed. If you don't know the answer to a quest, skip it and go on to one you know! Not answering doesn't count against you, but wrong answers do!
Good luck!!
