washing nursing shoes and/or crocs?

Not sure what is safe or recommended but I was my crocs in the washing machine with soap and bleach. The off brand clogs as well.

I do it once a week unless they get soiled. I do tend to buy new ones every 4-6 months though so I am not sure if it causes long term damage. :)

I don't put mine in the washing machine so I don't know about that. We have bleach wipes at work....I use these quite often. I wipe the tops as well as the bottom of my crocs. I wear shox a lot too and these I put in the washer.

You can clean crocs with a bleach/water mix. That'll kill most anything on them, just make sure the room's well ventilated ;-)

If you work in a hospital, the wipes you (might) use to wipe down monitors and other equipment you use for multiple patients work well to clean crocs too

We have bleach wipes at work....I use these quite often. I wipe the tops as well as the bottom of my crocs.

This is what i do except I use the antimicrobial surface wipes if the bleach wipes aren't available. I do this at least everyday when I'm leaving the hospital, if they look dirty I do it whenever I notice during my shift.

Sounds like a good idea for your kids' shoes...I hadn't thought of that. I do think I'd be a bit uneasy washing the shoes I wear through isolation rooms with the stuff my family and I eat out of...

Just a thought.

Yep, I agree. Nothing with bodily fluids would go where my dishes go, even though I'm sure the heat santizes and kills everything. Too oooogy.

But it works great for kids crocs.
