Given the probability of a vigorous black market, imagine the level of law enforcement activity they'll need to keep the bootleggers, along with the pregnant women and girls, in check.
Between the illegal market, law enforcement and criminal Justice/corrections, there's a s**t ton of money to be made. Remember Prohibition? Wouldn't it be fun to follow that money!

Yes. They will probably strip search you and bring in sniffer dogs too. For abortion pills!
This is an example of the reason I tend to take so-called "far left" journalism more seriously. I've been reading for years about dominionism. I kept it on a mental back burner, waiting for more evidence. And here it is ...
Part of the scientific process is using data to form a tentative explanation for patterns observed in those data - aka a hypothesis. Then one ideally designs an experiment to test the hypothesis. Unfortunately, political patterns aren't amenable to laboratory experimentation, so the next-best thing is to try to predict events based on what has been observed so far. In this case, far-lefties predicted ongoing efforts to bring civil law into line with conservative Christian theology and practice. QED.
Stupid people are welcome to indulge in all the denial and mockery they like, but nobody is buying it.

Do you doubt the extremes that authoritarians will push to achieve their agendas? Exposure to history helps to overcome and dispel the delusion that right wing authoritarians are bound by some common decency or reasonableness. I could recommend some good reading material.
It is interesting that my tongue in cheek comment inspired you to respond in such a fashion. LOL
QuoteCalifornia Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday said the state would no longer do business with Walgreens, after the drugstore chain told 21 Republican attorneys general that it would not sell the abortion pill in their states.
Newsom said on Twitter that the state is "done" doing business with Walgreens. Brandon Richards, a spokesperson for the governor, said California is reviewing all relationships between Walgreens and the state.
"We will not pursue business with companies that cave to right wing bullies pushing their extremist agenda or companies that put politics above the health of women and girls,” Richards said.
Wow. I wonder if this will hold up in court.
