Is anyone applying to Wake Tech's ADN program for the Fall 2020? How many points do y'all have?

Nope, we are to register after orientation. I had the same question and emailed about it. They will assign us to the section we are supposed to register for.
I am not in the nursing program, I am only doing my pre-req and will apply for Spring 2022 nursing program. So, I don't know that I will be able to pull it up in blackboard. I am a new student so I am still learning how to use everything LOL. I am just curious. So I am okay to have it show as long as I am not completing any clinicals? What about hair and nail polish?

For normal pre req classes? You can show your tattoos and have nail polish. That doesn’t really matter. Labs will have requirements for like close toe shoes and stuff though. As far as for clinicals once you’re in nursing school, you’d have to cover tattoos and I think no nail polish. Basically how you have to be for your nurse aide clinicals.

I’m asking the dress code for the nursing program and stating that I’m only taking pre-reqs for the nursing program right now. I’m just asking so I know in advance. Thank you!!

You’ll have to wear sleeves. I have one on my wrist, and during cna I wore a sleeve. I also wear a band to cover a finger tattoo.
Hey guys! I was looking at announcements on the BB and came across this one " please take some time between now and next term to go over the agency requirements, review math info (pre-test on first day of class!) and other available information. " , my question is: did anyone actually find this "math info"? Could you please share with me, I need to be ready for it or I will have the worst anxiety. I feel like I've looked everywhere and in every tab ((
Thanks!

I think that is all after orientation stuff. I think we’ll find out where we are going for clinicals during orientation, and that’s when we do the clinical agency requirements. Also I’m not sure about the math info, I didn’t see a book or anything listed, but on kindle unlimited through prime they have a medical math for nursing students book that you can borrow for free right now if you wanna get a head start and you have a kindle, or kindle app.

awesome! I'll check that out!
I've heard the math is not hard, but it's been a long time since I've had any math-related classes and it bugs me

The math book you’ll need is called calculating drug dosages a patient safe approach to nursing and math. The math info is under the nur 11 course information tab and scroll where it says NUR 11 gateway math session preparation! They will give you the rest of the info at orientation, but I guess it never hurts to get a jump start on stuff! Hope that helps!
