Wake Tech ADN Fall 2015

I am applying to the Fall 2015 nursing program and was wondering if anyone else was applying. I also wanted to know what points you have, I just want to estimate my chances of getting in for the Fall. I know the Fall semester is always harder to get in at Wake Tech. I am also applying to other programs as well just because I feel like I will be put on the wait list at Wake Tech. :arghh: Just feeling anxious.

Thanks for the info! Once I hear back from school whether or not I'm in, then I'll go out and get serious about buying my books and scrubs. If I find a good deal for scrubs, I'll post the info too.

Hi all,

Just to comment and suggest that is better if you guys can get the Davis drug guide the electronic version or if you have a code for the webpage. You will save a lot of time when writing medication prep sheets b/c every week you have to do one for at least six different meds. I did buy the pediatric book but we did not use it very much and the old version is very similar to the new one. I hope it helps.

I have a couple of questions. I have someone offering to give me her books for free (she graduated #1 in her class, so I'm not worried if she has written or highlighted in her books). However, she did say some books are different editions. Do you think that would be ok or is there a big variation in the editions? She just graduated in May.

Secondly, I have been told that we will only be tested on 5 of our NA skills and not all 24 that are in the book. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes the 5 skills are true. It's in our gateway on blackboard. I assume it is the same way as our state test. We will probably be given a measurement. Hand washing and three random skills
