  1. I'm in 4302 as well. I have the two big books and I'm just trying to figure out if I should buy the rest that we need online or is it really going to be that big of a savings. I just want to make sure I have everything.
  2. Did you purchase the bundle from the Wake Tech bookstore? I thought they said it was around $1100. I'm a bit nervous about starting!! Are you in 4301 or 4302??
  3. Has anyone purchased their books outside of Wake Tech? Maybe individually on Amazon or some other place? I'm comparing prices on Amazon to the $1100 "bundle" pack they're telling us to get at Wake Tech and it seems to be double in price. Unless, I'm missing something??? I was given quite a few nursing books, but it looks like only two are on the list for our program. \
  4. They've been taking the highest score.
  5. I saw that! And they changed it to where you can only take it twice a year instead of three for those who don't pass it the first time.
  6. That's a relief knowing I don't have to try to memorize the steps in all 24 skills again. I was told it was hand washing, PPE, emptying a foley, and vital signs. I was told you have to perform the skills as if you were taking the state test, but they are a little more lenient. Anyone know about the books? I'm hoping I can use the books given to me even though it's a different edition.
  7. Congrats on getting accepted!!!
  8. I have a couple of questions. I have someone offering to give me her books for free (she graduated #1 in her class, so I'm not worried if she has written or highlighted in her books). However, she did say some books are different editions. Do you think that would be ok or is there a big variation in the editions? She just graduated in May. Secondly, I have been told that we will only be tested on 5 of our NA skills and not all 24 that are in the book. Does anyone know if this is true?
  9. Congrats on getting in Babysticklet!!! Do you know what section you're in yet? Stay hopeful Duchess Kate!!!! Fingers crossed for you.
  10. I have a 15 y/o and a 17 month old. Definitely putting her in daycare, because there's no way I could be home studying during the day if she's home with me. I'm sure once we have our first few days of school we will get in the swing of things and everything will work out.
  11. I am definitely nervous about the stress that in my future! Hopefully, he goes by smoothly!
  12. Thanks! And I meant to say let me know which section you get once you hear from Mrs. Watkins!
  13. Well, hopefully of the 11 people she mentioned today, at least 8 don't go . Which section are you? I'm 4302.
  14. I was one of he two that had "Now Accepted" on my paperwork inside my folder, so I was pretty excited! Sounds like quite a few alternates may be accepted next week. What number did you end up getting?
  15. That stinks! I wonder if your email was just over looked, because every time I emailed her, she replied fairly quick. I promised not to email her again until after orientation :)
