Waiting on TCC for Spring 2010...

Anyone out there also playing the waiting game??? :p

I'm wondering if the notification process of acceptance/denial is any different with the lottery system in place. Any info would be greatly appreciated, especially from anyone that went through the application process this past Winter (the first quarter of the lottery system).

bina11: The updated lottery information is on the TCC Nursing website. Do you have a student ID number at TCC? Based on that ID number, the last four digits are what they are going by. Find your last four digits, and the number to the left of that is the corresponding lottery number.

I will tell you that all of the pre-requisites for this program needed to be completed with at least a 3.0 (B grade). If I remember correctly, you said in an earlier post that one of your grades was a C. This may be the cause if you cannot find your lottery number. From the TCC webpage, it says they will be conducting the lottery for full-time slots on Tuesday afternoon. Part time lottery numbers will be announced on Wednesday (like what we saw today), then they will be conducting the part-time lottery on Friday.

The last 4 digits of your student ID is listed on the nursing website. Find the last 4 digits of your student ID and that will give you your lottery number. Then, next Thursday they will be doing the lottery on the website (i don't know what time or anything, but the video will be posted). The first 22 numbers drawn in the lottery on Thursday will be admitted into the program. So go find your lottery number.

yaa I have an ID number the last four are 6565 and I checked that list like ten times I think I dont see it :( im soo bumbed

Now they are doing the drawing on tuesday afternoon and having the lottery winners posted then....the video wont be posted til thursday

So, you think they will post the winning lottery numbers on the TCC Nursing website, prior to putting the video up? I hope so - I would have to wait until Thursday morning to find out!

Yesterday it said they will do the drawing on thursday. then today it was changed to say they are doing the drawing on tuesday and the numbers will be posted on the website tuesday, but the video wont be up til thursday.... Now it just says the drawing will be tuesday but nothing about posting the numbers of the winners on tuesday. BAAHHHHH!!! its all so confusing! This is a patience tester. Its not good for the blood pressure!!! Good luck to you too!!

Just saw they added four numbers to the bottom of the list, so now they stand at 80. I guess that means they are getting ready for the draw. Kinda bummed that they added an extra four after the numbers were already assigned (did some people miss the cut-off, or did TCC just miss these four?). Not my business in the end. I just hope they pick my number - good luck!

Ugh!! I just noticed that too. I wonder why they added 4 more. Annoying, but you're right, its not my business :) I just really hope they pick our number!!

omg you guys I just found out why i dont have a lottery number i send my transcripts in December to the evaluator office and the nursing department could not find them. This is so ridiculous I was told to contact the evaluation office right away. Ughhh so upsetting :(

I'm trying to decipher their instructions - do you think will they put a list of the 22 lottery numbers that were picked today on their website, or will we have to wait to view the video on Thursday morning? Just feeling anxious...
