Waiting on TCC for Spring 2010...

Anyone out there also playing the waiting game??? :p

I'm wondering if the notification process of acceptance/denial is any different with the lottery system in place. Any info would be greatly appreciated, especially from anyone that went through the application process this past Winter (the first quarter of the lottery system).

Still waiting everyone? ....I read the older posts from 2008 and the dates the girls posted that they got their acceptance emails were like feb 15 feb 11th. So who knows maybe they change it up every year one or two days. Anyways I am honestly stressing out im sure you guys know what I am talking about :eek:

Yep - know exactly what you're talking about :p !! Nothing new on this end either. I wish we could find something out before the weekend hits, but it's not looking like it.

Nothing here either... Ok, so lets see...the school probably closes at 5 or 6 on fridays.... maybe they will do it at the last minute so they dont have to field phone calls over the weekend. I cant eat. i'm too nervous. :yeah:

OMG!!!! ok Go to the TCC nursing website NOW. they have the lottery numbers picked. the top 22 are in....unofficially, but they are in. I'm on the top 22!!! I'm so excited!!!! GO CHECK NOW!

AHHHHH!!! I mis-read the website. They are just your number for the lottery...the drawing will be next thursday the 11th...grrrrrr. i got excited there for a second.

...i didn't realize thats just the number for the lottery. They will draw the lottery numbers numbers next thursday. so there's a 1 in 3.5 chance our numbers will be drawn. This is crazy! only 78 qualified applicants. thats not bad odds i guess.... ugh, another week of waiting. Not cool!:uhoh3:

Don't feel like an idiot...it's hard not to get excited!! I am just now calming down!! And just happy to see that at least I have a lottery number!! I wonder what this all means if we applied for full-and part-time?? I'd actually prefer part-time...what if I get full-time??

Next week will be insane!!!!

Yeah, I applied for both but as of now I'd actually rather have part-time too. If I get full-time, I'm thinking after everything is said and done maybe I could see if any part-timers would rather do full-time and then switch. I guess that's putting the cart before the horse though. I'm excited to have a number - at least it means I don't have to spend my weekend replaying how I didn't get notified :D !

Have a great weekend - it feels like we're on a roller coaster ride, but at least we are still in the game!

umm you guys so you find your lottery number and next tuesday they draw? soooo is this everyone that applied or everyone that has a chance?
