Waiting on TCC for Spring 2010...

Anyone out there also playing the waiting game??? :p

I'm wondering if the notification process of acceptance/denial is any different with the lottery system in place. Any info would be greatly appreciated, especially from anyone that went through the application process this past Winter (the first quarter of the lottery system).

Omg thank you guys I feel much better about the GPA and the lottery video is pretty cool they do explain everything. I started checking my email now like every hour. Good luck to you all lets keep our fingers crossed :D

Hmmm checked my email a bunch of times this morning and no letter in the mail so if nothing by the end of today im going to assume that im in next weeks denial bunch:crying2: this is such a nerve racking process.

hold out for some hope bina11... I'm hoping we'll get some positive news today! It seems like the past couple of admitted groups got their emails on a thursday. Maybe I'm just trying to keep myself positive (but I might just become a basket case tonight if I don't hear anything :eek:).

yes ive got a tiny bit of hope, I just wish i new a few people that applied there so I could ask them if they have received anything yet. That would be very helpful.

My stomach is in knots!!! I hope you guys get good news today! I also found that thursday has been the "find out by email" day in the past. I am just tired of waiting for this! This week has gone by so so so slow. I feel like a dork because i check my email 10 times a minute. If I hear anything I will post it immediately!!! Good luck to you all:D

Waiting is awful you guys, I have been checking my email as well and everytime I see one new message in the inbox I get excited then find out thats not it:uhoh3:

Didn't get anything today. My husband actually hurt his shoulder really bad this afternoon, so I spent a fair amount of time in the ER with him - which took my mind off of things. He'll be okay, but I was hoping to come home to a wonderful email. Oh well.

aww im so sorry hope he is doing okay, I kept checking when I got home from work every hour or so and nothing yet. Who knows maybe today maybe next week. Either way gotta stay positive :)

So i dont know if y'all care... I was looking at my past rejection letters (LOL!) and the one from Fall was sent on a thursday at 7:50pm....and the one for Winter was sent on a thursday at 12:05 pm. SOOOOO, I'm thinking for the folks who are accepted will hear today.... I love how Im over analyzing this thing! :lol2:

haha LalaJJB your not over analyzing I would do the same thing I wish you luck hope you get in this round. I am actually not that hopeful to be honest I thought I would be okay but then after applying I realized I have one C among all of my pre-reqs I dont know if they are just gonna pass my application but anyways im rooting for you guys. Has everyone applied to several schools or just waiting on TCC? I did TCC, UW, Seattle U, gonna do Shoreline and Everett as well and I think PLU as well even though their deadline has passed you can still send in the applications and if there are spots available and they like you then your in.
