I've said it in a couple of other posts but just wanted to spread the word. If you haven't taken the NCLEX yet, or haven't retaken it since April 1st...please read!! I'm sure most of you have heard that the NCLEX has a "new" format. I just wanted to let everyone know that you MUST study Priority questions. For example, "You have just taken shift report, which one of these clients would you assess first?" or "You need to make a bed available, which one of these clients would you discharge?" I have recently taken my NCLEX for the second time...the first time was before the "change" and I couldn't believe how many prioritizing questions there were! I didn't pass AGAIN, but now I know FOR SURE that I must study priortizing...and I cannot stress this enough. Good luck to those who are getting ready to take the NCLEX, I don't feel like I should give you any advice since I haven't passed yet, although I did MUCH better according to my NCSBN report....but if I could give you ANY advice....STUDY PRIORTIZING patient care!!!

The content of each person's exam is going to vary widely. Some people will see what seems like a ton of priority questions, while others may encounter a higher number of other types. This is something that didn't change with the April 2007 revisions.
