I studied daily for about 4 weeks. It is recommended that you do not wait to take NCLEX, because the information learned in school will be fresher in your mind if you take it very soon after graduation. The pass rate is greater than 80 percent for people who take it within a month of graduation. If you wait more than 60 days, your chances of passing substantially decrease. How many weeks or months did you study for the boards?
Another reason that I am worried about the PN nclex is that I am a RN student. I have one semester left. I want to work as a LPN in my last semester so I can start getting experience and a check.
Should do ok. However, you should probably be using a Reveiw book for PN as there are some differences. I took my PN during 4th semster of nursing because I knew I could not finish 4th semster and had no idea when I could continue. Worked out great. Good luck on boards. You may also wanna take a look at The Random Facts Thread for some memory joggers.
I think your information is all in there all ready. You have it. don't worry. I try to take 2 online tests a day. I'm not making perfect but I am averaging 80% and if I pass I pass. My learning is going to come in the field right?
If you have had decent teachers I believe the info is all there in your head...just waiting for that Nclex
email if anyone needs some study stuff.

Hello I am new to this site. I am really enjoying reading the post. I am currently waiting for my ATT for the PN NCLEX. Can anyone tell me how to study? I have all these NCLEX books and I am feeling so overwhelmed. I feel as if I am not getting anywhere. I want to test in Jan., but I also need to be ready. Thank you in advance.
