Waiting for a letter from Forsyth Tech for ADN Fall 2012

Hi everyone,

I've heard that Forsyth Tech usually sends out letters pretty quickly, beginning about a week from the deadline. I've also heard that A LOT of people -- even more than the 350 applicants in spring 2012 -- have applied for fall. I'm on pins and needles waiting for good news. If anyone else receives a letter, could you post?

I am waitlisted. Anyone have any idea of the number they wait list and maybe how many will not accept the offer?

From what I hear if you are waitlisted you have a very good chance of getting in. They told us that at one of the info sessions.

Lord I hope being waitlisted is a good thing. I am ready to start this! But at the same time, I should get in next semester. I am finishing 1 of the pre-reqs so I am down 12 points right there. But congrats to everyone! Hopefully I will get some good news soon! (Quietly in my mind: someone drop out. Someone drop out!)

I got one today. It was a small envelope so I was expecting a big no.

Just to let you guys know my niece had a 160 and got in. If u think they counted your points wrong check them cause they got hers wrong once before. If they r wrong it will put u number 1 on the wait list. Also I have heard that usually the wait list almost always gets in and u can b notified at the absolute last minute of an opening.

Momof2sons if u have 158 points then u have more than erinjane1 and should have gotten n or at least gotten wait listed. Check w Ms. Groome on ur points. Sweetsahm u need to check ur points 169.5 is a lot and I don't see how u could have screwed up ur points so much that u wouldn't get in. I'd check and see what my points are. They will tell u no problem.

I was told to use my transfer credits from Salem ( I am four classes away from my bachelors in CRW) and the point system given at orientation. I think I was using all my transfer credit not just the classes listed. It is the way the lady in admissions told me to determine it. I need the anatomy and taking it this summer along with Pysch 241. It would be helpful if they gave you your scores with the letter. Just so I have an idea if it is better to finish the bachelors and bridge BSN at WSSU or if I am just slightly short and Spring ADN is a possibility. For anybody waitlisted what was your score?
