Waiting for a letter from Forsyth Tech for ADN Fall 2012

U.S.A. North Carolina

Hi everyone,

I've heard that Forsyth Tech usually sends out letters pretty quickly, beginning about a week from the deadline. I've also heard that A LOT of people -- even more than the 350 applicants in spring 2012 -- have applied for fall. I'm on pins and needles waiting for good news. If anyone else receives a letter, could you post?

Did it come certified? I missed a letter today and was not expecting anything.

Do the RN and RN to LPN letters go out separately? Have they both gone out yet?

My friend got his LPN acceptance letter today as well.

No acceptance letter today. I hope they send out the LPN letters first.

Yes, my acceptance was to the LPN to RN program. There is only 24 slots, but I'm sure less applicants than the RN or LPN, so that's probably why we got our's first. I' m sure the other letters should be coming soon- it looks like orientation for everyone is the 28th.The letter comes by regular mail- you'll see the package as soon as you open your mailbox!

They come regular mail. When I called this week she said they hoped to have the ADN letters out by next week. I would say start expecting those any day now through the end of next week. If u haven't gotten one by the end of next week call. Make sure u didn't just miss it in mail. If they say they haven't all gone out then u can expect to receive a alternate letter or denial letter.

I got my acceptance letter into the ADN program today!

Oh yea orientation for ADN is on Tuesday April 3 and deadline to accept is march 26th.

I got mine too!!! Congrats to you and good luck to the rest of you! See you in April!

I applied to ADN and got my denial letter today.

I got my letter today. I was not selected. I thought I had 169.5 for points but I guess not. Best of luck in the program to all those who are accepted.

I got my acceptance today! I think I had 160 points, but I'm not sure. Congratulations to everyone accepted!

To everyone who didn't, my thoughts are with you. With so many people applying for 72 seats, many really talented people were sure to be turned away. I hate that.
