Waiting For Spring 2013 Acceptance..Anyone else?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I just sent in my final piece for admissions, my essay. Now, I wait. I will find out in October if I'm accepted for spring start. I've waiting so long to get here. Anyone else playing the waiting game???

I hate the waiting game, I wish I just knew already so I can prepare what to do next.

I applied at Aquinas College in Nashville, TN. Anyone else in Nashville?

I'm only applying to one school, and they make applications available Sept 1-15. So since the 1st was a weekend and tomorrow is a holiday, I pick up my app on Tuesday! Then I wait. I'm so stinking nervous. I'm taking a nursing course now, which makes me even more anxious because I love it...so any shred of doubt over whether this is what I really want for my life is totally gone. Finger crossed I don't have to resort to plan B next semester, and good luck to everybody else! :)

I only applied at one school as well, if I don't get accepted I have to wait and apply again next semester at the same school. My options aren't that great in this area, only a few schools that have ASN programs and they're really hard to get into. I could go the BSN route but I'd rather not at this time. We shall see, gonna be a looooong month for me!

I have applied to LMU fast track program for spring ... Will be October to December before I hear already tired of waiting... Good luck everyone !!!

where did everyone apply? or where are you planning to apply. I know a handful are still accepting applications.

I applied to USF and SMU (bay area - California).

Specializes in Med Surg, PCU, Travel.

Wow, I was just about to start a thread like this. I have applied to 2 schools, one for BSN one is the ADN. I am not sure what to do. Its only been a few weeks but The waiting is killing me! what do you guys do while you wait? I was wondering if to start on taking the required vaccines and documentation, take a short CNA or phelbotomy course, looking at old nursing books brushing up on medical terminology or Anatomy or volunteer at a hospital...I just don't know what to do so occasionally I come on here and read what real nurses and students are going through. Is anyone planning vaccines information ahead of time, like titers etc, or are you going to just wait for the letter? Getting vaccines done now, I guess will be beneficial anyways right? What list of vaccines does your school require? My BSN program is asking for

Polio Vaccine (Date of Immunization) ________________

Tetorifice/Diphtheria Or Tdap ________________

(Booster within last ten years)

Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) OR ________________

laboratory evidence of immunity

Varicella (Chicken Pox) Vaccine OR History

of documented chicken pox (give date) OR ________________

laboratory evidence of immunity

Hepatitis B Vaccine OR laboratory evidence ________________

Hepatitis A Vaccine ________________

and a physical and TB screening

I applied to University of Central Florida(BSN) and Florida State College at Jacksonville (ADN-night program)

I applied to JSCC. June 15th was the deadline. I hope to hear something this week! :specs:

I applied to CCRI, this is my 3rd time. Should hear something back mid Oct
