The admission deadline for my school is October 1st and they send out acceptance, alternate, and rejection letters "within a few weeks" and in that order. I'm done with my TEAS and now I'm stuck playing the waiting game. The suspense is killing me! Is anyone else feeling just as nervous and impatient as me?? I'll gladly wait as long as I get in but the not knowing is really making me anxious. :sstrs:

Yes! Our deadline was August 1st, then they had us take the entrance exam at the end of August and they said they would notify everyone by the end of September. There are 7 days left in September and I am currently stalking my mailman! I'm at the point now where I just want to know either way so I can make plans to be there as of January or apply again and get my scores up!

YES, TODAY is actually the admission committee's review session at my school of choice....SOO YESSS, I am just dying inside!! I am so anxious! For some reason, I have a great feeling that does not help with my anxious feeling! HAHA!!! I just want to know so that I can actually feel excited and be a nursing student!!!!!! I hope it doesn't take too long after today!!

Yeah, we could wait until the end of October though. I just started checking my mailbox the last couple days, it could be anytime.

Yes.....my school of choise is same as Tmowry's......been anxious for a month now and even worse now. Pretty sure i'll likely get in but cant count on it for sure til get that letter. And knowing committee reveiw was today, knowing they already decided and THEY know if I'm in or not, just making me even more anxious. Hoping they get them in the mail quickly. I know I will get mine they day after it is put in the mail, so could be as soon as tommorow (if they got it in the mail today, which is unlikely), but probably Saturday or next week. Though I know its not like they have many to put out....this batch of applicatants I was told was only 30-some applications to reveiw. School has rolling admission.

Hey Jguy do you know how many applicants that they accept for each session feb/june??

Thats the one thing with St Mag is it is so small. Its only like 28-34.....something around that. I think one session is higher then the other, though I'm not sure which.....this is why I was so happy when I heard not too many spots were taken yet in the Feb start, as I would have more chance of not getting in for Feb due to it being full, then not being eligable.

I hope your right as in feb not full yet!!!! I am trying for June, so hopefully since I applied so early, it will help me. Do you know anything about their process? What the focus more on? GPA? or everything as a whole? Sorry for so many questions, I like talking about it because it helps relieve a little bit of anxiety! HA! I will get my letter probably the day after you get yours!

Can't wait!!!

Yeah it is deffinitly not full yet. The guy I know knows someone at the school. He was told only like 4 or 5 spots were already filled....which is probably what settled my nerves the most......i would be a wreck waiting if i didnt know that. But I think it is everything, grades, scores, recomendations. I'll bet you're in no problem...its just the waiting to know for sure thats killer. I just know I get mine next day cause I'm same post office as the school. So just needs to get there and be sorted to go out next day. Actually laughed when was bringing the application to the post office to mail it cause had to go 3 times as far as if i just took it to the school. :lol2: One nice thing for me is I can walk to school.....and then carpool with people to clinicals....will never have to drive for school.

haha!! That's awesome!! I live in Butler County so I will have a little bit of a drive! I hope you hear Saturday!! Chances are I am sure slim to none that they went out today!!

Hey, I am also waiting, impatiently I might add. The application window is Sept. 1 to Sept. 30 and then about 6 weeks to receive a letter. Sometime in there, they will be requesting personal interviews. So I am waiting for the last 7 days of September to go, then I will be anxiously awaiting a call, letter or e-mail.

I made myself sick with anxiety over getting the application in, I sent mine in on the 1st. I initially felt relief, because it's really out of my hands now, but now that it's getting towards the end of the month, I feel the anxiety coming back.

I wake up sometimes stressing about some small part of my application, wondering if it's based on my overall GPA or just on the pre-reqs that they require, and so on. I then of course think what if I don't get accepted, then what? I purposely took a full class load this term to take my mind off of it, but it only works to a certain extent.

Best wishes to all waiting for news, lets set aside something to celebrate when we get that letter (I might ask the husband for some champagne :)). L.
