can't wait much longer, when can I take NCLEX??

OKAY...I think I'm starting to freak out! My last day of LPN school was March 25th and graduation is April 17th. I've been checkin my email 1,000 times a day waiting for my ATT# so I can take the nclex. HOW LONG DOES THIS USUALLY TAKE??? How much time went by before you were able to sit? We took a mock nclex the last day, and they told me if that had been boards, I would've passed. I'm just SO terrified if too much time goes by, my mind will go soft.

I think you have to actually graduate first. Your school has to send a list of everyone who graduated to the BON in order for ATT's to be sent out. That's how it was with my school anyway.

We were told the letters would go out the next morning....as of today, it's been a week! :chuckle:chuckle:chuckle Guess I'm being a little impatient. haha UGH, I just wanna get it out of the way so I can start working!!! I hate this waiting- wait to get ATT#, wait to find out if you passed or failed...why do they DO this to us??? haha

I can understand your frustration. Just keep reviewing and practicing questions so your brain doesn't go soft:). Then you'll be even more confident and sure of yourself.

I guess I was lucky, our last day of class was the day before graduation lol...I didn't have to wait very long. I think once the list was sent to the BON, it took a few weeks to get my ATT. Good luck, I hope you get your paperwork soon! :)

U have to wait for the bon to approve ur app then they would notify pearsonvue and they will send ur att to ur email im in illinois mine took about a week! Dont rush or get caught up in the predictor scores there not accurate and practise questions and go over rationales do at lease 2000 questions or more i recommend

UPDATE- I FINALLY got ATT# today .........and now I'm freaking out! haha I'm thinking I will try to take it next Wednesday, give myself a week to get it together. I've never wanted anything so bad...made it through school, now this is the last step! Keep ur fingers crossed!!!

I'm jealous! My last day of class was 12 FEB and they told us they would mail it out within the next week. Well apparently something happened and they didn't mail out our packets on time. I JUST got my ATT today!!! Oh well at least I can FINALLY take my NCLEX!!! :icon_roll It feels like I've stressed out so much over it it doesn't feel like I'm ever going to take it. I don't know how I'll ever manage to wait for the results!!!

NO WAY, seriously? That's a heck of a wait!! Were you studying while you waited? (I probably would've been too busy pulling my hair out!) Are you takin the nclex soon??
