Vulnerable populations starting 5/20

I am starting this forum for those of us taking this course in May to interact and offer eachother encouragement and assistance.

I am sorry for having to vent about this but I find it incredibly frustrating that no faculty in any class I have taken can answer a simple question or clarify anything! Why must all responses be some cryptic answer that just dances around the question?

I didn't know about professor.com, will have to go and give my 2 cents:) I got a C in that class!! I was very upset, but just glad that I passed at that point and didn't have to take it again!!!

Is any one else ready to have a nervous breakdown from this paper! Every time I start I get lost in one particular area and realize I haven't even touched the other parts. It seems like this is a never ending sink hole.

I agree. I keep thinking to myself has it been five weeks yet?

It just seems like a paper with this much information should have been one we worked on throughout the five weeks and turned in at the end. This is way too much to cover in the first 2 weeks of class.

I agree that there is a lot of info for one assignment and who puts a title page in the middle of a document?? Plus, the AC docked a couple of points off my assignment for week 1 (the 2 community diagnoses), but did not put any comments as to why. Well, I am not changing them now and do not know how to improve them anyway. Unbelievable…then again, not really!

I haven't gotten my diagnosis assignment back yet so we will see how that went. I am just having trouble finding some of the information. I can find state and national air quality etc but it is much more difficult to find some for a specific small city. The instructions alone are almost impossible to find and are like 26 pages long! How can we be expected to follow that!! I thought health assessment was a lot of writing but at least that followed a format and was information I could actually find!!!!!

The thing that bugs me is that they say to fill in the template but then we need a cover sheet!? Also, my community and the community that I picked are normal, so I went outside the community, to get more juicy stuff! Because we go 10 blocks in 4 directions, so I guess that I incorporate these 4 directions?

Whenever I ask the coach she always says that the instructions are in the lecture. I had a difficult time on those dang diagnoses!

I had the hardest time coming up with the diagnoses! She gave me a 95, bc one of mine needed more info, I guess I needed to bs more:) that is what everyone is saying, but I am not good at bsing!

Yeah, it says to fill in the template, but where does the title page go?
