  1. Thanks for the responses. I am excited to get started in May.
  2. How are your classes going. I start in May. Do you recommend anything I should start reviewing that could help make things easier?
  3. adamRn79, How do you like the program so far? PA_RN87 did you apply to the program?
  4. I got everything worked out. I will be graduating next month. I am so happy it is done.
  5. I did not think capstone was that bad. You have discussions every week. There is a weekly journal for the first four weeks that help you write a journey paper in week 5. There is another weekly assignment that leads to a PowerPoint due in week 4. Overall not bad.
  6. I submitted my last assignment. I am done! I am so excited. Anyone going to graduation in May?
  7. I applied for graduation and having issues with classes not being posted to my transcript. I have contacted my advisor but not really get results. Did anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a contact above the advisors?
  8. I'm so ready to be done this class. I submitted my PowerPoint to the discussion board today. I started working on the rest because of my work schedule. On a side note, is anyone going to graduation?
  9. This is going to be interesting. I saw that there are two tests and they are only available on Wednesday. I am hoping I can get off of work. I have never had a class have a test available for only one day. Good luck everyone and hopefully these 5 weeks will go quickly and smoothly.
  10. I am not looking forward to this class. I have heard nothing but horrible things. Hopefully we will all have a good group.
  11. I am finishing up health assessment now and you can complete the assignments ahead of time but there is a test due for each week that has to be completed in that week. You can not take the tests ahead of time.
  12. I need to take the final and will be done. I am off on Wednesday, so I will take it then. Hopefully it will not be to bad. 30% of your grade is a lot.
  13. I took British Literature. It was not a bad class. If I remember correctly there were several papers and a lot of reading. Some of the reading was quick and easy, but there is a book that you have to read and write a report on it. They tell you the book in the beginning so that you can get started on it. I think that the start of the class you cover Chaucer. I like British lit so it was an easy choice for me. If you do what is asked of you then it goes by pretty fast.
  14. I will be in this class with you Mary Ann. I am expecting the worst with everything that I have read on hear. Hopefully we will have good groups.
  15. I am working on the objective assessment for week 1. I am not sure what exactly we have to say. It says to be sure to include your assessment techniques. Can we state that we observed something or inspected a part of the body without explaining in full detail what we did. For example with a pulse check, can we say pulse 60 bpm on right radial artery, or do we need to say that we placed two fingers on patient's right radial pulse on the lateral aspect of the client's wrist. I am looking at the example and it is not very detailed. It states that they inspected, observed, or palpated.
