Call local staffing agencies to see if they have a flu shot gig that piques your interest. Around this time of year, many of the nursing agencies in my area will hire anyone with a license to work as a vaccination nurse for giving injections at the various flu shot clinics.
Thank you commuter. What about being a volunteer nurse, anyone know anything about this......?

I don't know about volunteer nursing, but I know of vaccine nurses. If there is a Maxim agency in your area, now would be a good time to sign up. Flu season starts in October.

I haven't been able to find a volunteer gig as an LPN. We can't triage, which seems to be the biggie.
All of you have given me good ideas that i will look into once i get my license. Hope the wait isnt too long.
