VISA SCREEN Request for license verification

Hello fellow nurses. i am johnny ferniz from bohol, i have passes all exam(NLE, NCLEX, IELTS) required for my visascreen application. I have a little problem here regarding my visa screen application. i have finished sending my "visascreen request for license verification" which is my local license from the PRC. Now, i need to send another "visascreen request for license verification" to California (which i passed my NCLEX) to verify my license. however, i haven't sent my SSN. For me to finish my visa screen application, should is directly send my "visascreen request for license verification" to California BON without giving them my SSN or should I apply for reciprocity to another state to for them to give me a license where I can send them a "visascreen request for license verification" in which they can verify my as a licensed nurse.

I doubt anyone here is going to know the answer to your question. I'm not even sure where to tell you to find the answer, but it looks like you might check with the California BON to start.

You just need to send the form to CA BRN plus fee and they will verify with CGFNS that you have meet requirements ie passed NCLEX

Is it possible even though I haven't received or even send my SSN for my license yet?

Many many used this before CA changed their policy.

CGFNS just need confirmation you passed NCLEX. Just do a search in this forum and you should see many posts that did this as CA have not issued a license for several years it is only recently (last year or so) that policy changed that you must have a SSN to submit application

Hello again.. I am almost done with my visa screen application but I have some things to clarify..

Iv'e seen this on multipy and this made me confused.

ENVELOPE 1: Request to California Board of Registered Nursing

Mailing Address:

- Personal Letter request

• Request for Validation of Registration/License For VisaScreen

• Photocopy of College Diploma

• Photocopy of Transcript of Records

• Photocopy of NCLEX results

• $60 bank draft payable to BOARD OF REGISTERED NURSINGENVELOPE 1: Request to California Board of Registered Nursing

Attn: Renewals Unit

Q:What are the actual documents that I need to send? Iv'e read on other forums that I will only need to send the bank draft and the varification form and a letter(optional).. Is this still applicable today? since the dates on those forums dates back year 2009..

• 2 pcs passport-sized picture signed back and front

• Photo ID form

• Photocopy of high school diploma

- College diploma with seal

Q: Do i need to verify my diploma to DEPED first for the "red ribbon"?

Q: Should I still send my college diploma?

These two envelopes are very confusing..

on my email from cgfns ,I only lack three things

- Secondary diploma from my School (graduated last 2004)

- Photo

- CP or NCLEX result

Should I stick on the Email or follow the instruction I saw on multiply?..

I would suggest you check out the handbook that tells you how to complete the vsc

Good day everyone! im in the process of applying for a visa screen certificate.my problem is i dont know what step to take re: licensure verification for NCLEX. i took the NCLEX last 2007 Cali state. what are the forms I'm going to send to CA-BON. I dont see any specific instructions from the CGFNS website regarding the licensure verification for NCLEX. need help. thanks!

CA should have the form on their website and usually there is a small fee. Also check the handbook as there used to be forms there

this cgfns link shows you the form that you need to fill out and submit to cgfns. I had the same question and this is the link cgfns sent me. they weren't sure about the fees of cali bon however. I decided to write a cover letter requesting and paying both the $60 visa screen verification and $10 test results, based on the conversations I've read here in allnurses.

I had my nclex results endorsed to texas (originally took and passed nclex at california) and now i am applying for a VSC. my question is do I need to ask california to fill up a verification of license/ send a copy my nclex reults to cgfns? Or is Texas alone is sufficient? thanks
