Virtual ATI....feeling very overwhelmed

Nursing Students NCLEX

Ok so I finished school march 14th and we used ati all through school for almost every class and had to score a level 2. Based on that, I decided to go with the virtual ati program because I was very familiar with the format and liked the style. Anyway now I'm about a week out from my test date (April 17) and I am feeling so overwhelmed I want to vomit! I have been getting 65-72 on my ati tests and doing all the remediation and review my coach suggests plus answering tons of questions in ati and a Davis book! I did well throughout school and felt that I had a pretty good grasp on the content until I haven't been scoring as high on ATI. I'm just curious if other people have used ati, scored about the same and been successful on their 1st nclex? If so did you just use ati or other stuff and any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

You already have your test date Carly! Good for you. I'm still waiting to hear back from Alaska. I don't have much to add to this topic, but you are a strong student and will be a strong nurse. I hope someone is able to answer your question.

I'm currently doing virtual ATI and it's my first go around with ATI in general. I so far like it, and I HOPE your instructor told you the benchmark is 60 on those assessments, so if you've been hitting above it, you should be fine. I've been getting around those scores as well, never going below a 66 and my highest being 82. My instructor seems confident in me so I don't know. I wish I could tell you if it helps with NCLEX but I've yet to take mine. I hope to take mine in about 3 weeks!

I am currently doing ATI and hate it, our school makes us take this course. Everyone that I have talked to that has already passed said it is a complete waste of time. Most of my friends ahead of me passed with less than 80 questions. They said NCLEX was easier than ATI, and they hated it. Most people I know used Hurst and loved it. I hope you do well! Just remember ATI does not match up to NCLEX because it isn't NCLEX. nothing will be exactly like it until you take the test. Good Luck!

Hopefully if it's harder than nclex we will be good to go! I'm supposed to take the predictor this week so hopefully that goes well!

I'm supposed to take my predictor at the beginning of next week so I'll let you know how I do! I also hope that NCLEX is easier than ATI! It would be nice :)!

Yeah I take my med surge mastery tomorrow and my predictor in 2 weeks, Im nervous and ready to be done!

I'm supposed to take my predictor Wednesday or Thursday! I'm super nervous!

It makes me happy that you guys are all going through this at the same time! I'm doing Nursing Care of Children tonight!! I don't feel so alone anymore lol :)

I took a practice predictor and received a 75 which equates to a 97% chance of passing! I'm taking the actual predictor tommorow and I'll let you all know how it goes! Anxiety is definitely setting in and I was really hoping for some feedback from others who have used ati and passed the test but nothing yet!

well guys just took my ati predictor and got an 80 which equates to a 99% chance of passing! not gonna lie i thought it was very difficult! good luck to all of you! here's hoping its pretty accurate!

Throughout nursing school I had to do ATI as well. Those finals tests/predictor was so hard!! Honestly, I felt like ATI was much harder than the actual NCLEX. ATI's questions were more confusing I would say. A lot of my classmates felt the same way.
