That year GMU sent the first round of letters around March 29th which is close to this time around.
That person also said that GMU called and sent her an email with a time frame in which they wanted to hear back from her. I'd keep monitoring your email for now.
Hope it works out for you 😊

I also know a freind of mine who got waitlisted and then get accepted, after giving up. So, I really hope and pray that the same thing happens to you. I believe that you are a strong candidate, and the fact that you got waitlisted is a prove to that. Mostly it's a matter of space why you got waitlisted and other applicants might have had some clinical experience along with strong Academic background. incase you did not have any clinical experience such as working as a clinical Technician. I Wish you all best.

May 16Joined: Dec '17; Posts: 40; Likes: 8Did you guys attend the transfer orientation that was the 8th of this month?
I met one of you there who knew about allnurses, but she was at the accelerated nursing program.
Does anyone want to start an FB group?
May 19Joined: Apr '18; Posts: 19; Likes: 3I did. I met another nursing student but he was doing accelerated as well. I agree we should make a 2018 traditional bsn fb page.
May 20Joined: Apr '18; Posts: 19; Likes: 3Hey 98485,
I got your PMs but allnurses says I cannot send PMs until I have at least 15 posts. I'm down for the group chat you mentioned, send me your info please and we can talk from there. I look forward to nursing school with you and everybody on this board!

May 27Joined: Apr '18; Posts: 19; Likes: 3Quote from BokkechickDon't worry! We're all in this together, we'll be fine. The lady up front at the orientation was probably just trying to scare us. The retention rate for their program is extremely high, if that makes you feel any better.Hello All! So happy to have found you all...I am nervouscited about starting the program this Fall. May 27Joined: May '18; Posts: 19Thank you...it sure does! It was AGES ago that I did the orientation so I don't even remember that, but the fact that I am an older student who will be juggling 3 kids alongside the full time program :-)
May 29Joined: Dec '17; Posts: 40; Likes: 8They Storm, I'm back. Sure, let me message you the details. It's actually a few people, me and some other girl that I'd like to add. And I'd like to add you in it, so that makes 4. Let me check back w/ them first. Anyone else wanna join?
I went to the orientation and got my transcripts evaluated, the lady in the back (the girl who lead us up the room) told us that the speaker was very cutthroat, but not to worry because the university will make sure to teach us. She told me that it does speak on them too if many students drop, that's why its in their best interest to keep the students in the program and actually passing.
I have read many experiences from many forums and they say Nursing is really about putting in the work. I'm sure our time management skills will improve as we go through the program lol.
Have you guys joined GMU groups yet? I've joined a few during orientation. They were recruiting. And the people there are so nice.
May 30Joined: May '18; Posts: 7Hello, I decided I would finally make an account and engage in the conversation. I too have been waitlisted and was wondering if Meg has heard back from the program? Does anyone have any information? I am trying to be positive and hopeful but it is approaching June and my hopes are slowly decreasing. Congrats to everyone who got in.
