George Mason Traditional Nursing 2018

U.S.A. Virginia

Published

I am applying to George Mason Nursing (Traditional) for the year 2018! I wanted to start a forum because I didn't see any for this year! Does anyone have any idea how competitive the program is? I am taking be HESI on the 11th and I am so nervous about the A&P section of the test.

Hey, have you guys signed up for the BLS CPR & ECC?

Also, I thought someone would have made a facebook group by now. Would you guys like me to make it?

As for the group chat, would you all feel comfortable if if it was thru phone? We could do it through FB too.

I did the BLS course back in May...it was good! What is the "ECC"?

I too would be happy to make a Facebook page, if folks would like to tell me what to name it. Alternatively, I would love to join if one has already been made or if someone else wants to make it. Would be a more convenient/interactive forum than this one! I am not good with the phone. Please let me know...

PS. If you go to the GMU community page on Facebook, we would create a group on there as well...it requires a valid Masonlive.gmu.edu account, so we can be sure that there are only Mason students on there!

Bokke, thanks for the speedy answer.

(ECC is just the name that comes with it I guess, didn't mean to confuse you).

How was the CPR class, and how long was it? Was it hard?

The group can be named like GMU Traditional Nursing 2020 (the year we graduate).

The BLS class was not too hard, just time consuming...mine was 4.5 hours long!

I tried to make a group, but need at least one other person-friend from my list or email address (as per Facebook rules)...

Wow 4.5 hours? Did you have a lot of people in your class? Mine was only like an hour and 15 for some reason.

You can also make a public group without the friends list thing, but you make it so you ask questions pertaining to the topic, that way randoms can't join. I can do it instead if you'd like.

Also, happy 4th of July everybody!

Yup...4.5 hours!! I thought that was standard?-There was a lot of material covered...plus individual assessments. There were 8 of us, in total.

With the FB thing...If you want to do it, that would be great!-Just remember to come share the name so that I can search it! :-)

Happy Independence Day, All!

I just made the group. Look up "GMU Nursing Traditional BSN Class of 2020" and you should find it.

I was the only one in my CPR class, maybe that's why it went by so quickly.

So weird....I have searched several times with the exact name, but it is not showing up?!?! Wonder if you posted the link here, if it would show up?

FINALLY found it....but it was NOT easy, and did not show up in a search with the full name...had to remove "Traditional BSN" for it to show up! Sent a Join Request!

P.S. "Traditional" is misspelled in the group name. Don't know if that affected the search? It is spelled "GMU Nursing Tradtional BSN Class of 2020" on the FB page.

My bad on the typo, I've fixed that just now. Thanks for pointing that out. Here's the link: Log into Facebook | Facebook
