Those look great, Joe! - I don't remember working with an iron lung, but ventilators have changed from big chugging behemoths into very small flat units for home use about the size of a notebook = amazing!

two wonderful books i highly recommend for personal nursing collections and gift giving:
a. postcards of nursing: a wordwide tribute
author: michael zwerdling rn
florida hospice nurse michael zwerdling, rn turned his passion for collecting nursing related postcards into a fascinating book. postcards of nursing presents artistic and photographic interpretions of nursing across all major aspects of twentieth century culture, from 1893 through 2002. the united states is featured, and 70 other countries are represented.

b. nursing, the finest art: an illustrated history
author: m. patricia donahue phd rn faan
2nd edition 3rd edition
the 3rd edition released in 201o, " traces the social, political and economic history of nursing from its origins through contemporary practice with over 400 fine art images and unique timelines that offer an ‘at a glance’ view of nursing through the ages."
i have the second edition displayed in my office so when i need a brain break can read a few pages or to destress display a picture.
