Hi everyone! I am creating this thread for those interested in the Villanova BSN Express that starts in may of 2022. Im creating this as a place to share experiences, stats, questions, and maybe just connect with everyone who is going to be in the program.
I was accepted a week or so ago and plan on accepting my offer! I am so excited to hear from others!

Hi there! Did you do the early application? I submitted on literally the last day, October 15 (extended from October 1). I have no idea what my chances are but I have a 4.0 in my prereqs, 3.2 in overall GPA, and clinical experience as a hospice volunteer.

Hi! Yes I applied really early, I actually submitted my application on June 28th and didn’t hear anything until early October, where I was told I had an interview, I interviewed October 8th and heard back about my acceptance a few days later on the 11th. I think you have a pretty decent chance. I definitely did not have a 4.0 in my prerequisites, but I did have mostly As and Bs and even a C+ in one class. I had a 3.4 overall GPA, with clinical experiences in a hospital and shadowing nurses. Have you heard back about an interview?
Hi, I was accepted last week! Has anyone decided to attend? I’m waiting to hear from the SUNY schools I applied to (got into Brockport already) and also waiting to hear about possible scholarships from Villanova before I decide.

Found out last week I was awarded the Conway Scholarship which helps a lot, so definitely planning to attend in May! Would love to connect with more classmates and maybe start a fb group or something. Living in New York City with no car so moving to the area around Villanova is definitely daunting, but I’m so excited!

That is so awesome!! Congratulations! yes I’d also love to connect with some classmates, I’m not totally sure how to create a facebook group but that would be super smart to do to connect with others!

Hi guys, just wanted to reach out and see if anyone here has taken pathophysiology with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)? If so, are you able to provide any feedback? I am trying decide between taking it at Villanova or through Portage Learning. Thanks!

Hey, I took my patho course through https://www.ccd.edu - it was online and really easy. Aside from that, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) is an amazing professor so either option is up to you.

Hi! I took it through portage! It wasn’t that bad! It’s at your own pace which can be difficult and the tests have a lot of short answers just an fyi. I heard great things about the nova patho professor though so both are good options !
Thanks for your response guys! How is your experience with the program so far?
