Does anyone know if, once accepted, there is some sort of time restriction in which you need to confirm your seat? I'm not applying early decision, just regular, and I want to be able to hear back from other programs too but don't want to lose my spot if its one of the "you have 10 days to make a deposit" sort of situation

So for early admission we have until October 31st to pay our seat deposit, but for standard decision.

Do you guys have any recommendations for places to live near Villanova? I'm from New York, so I'm not very familiar with the area. Thank you!

I live in center city which is quite expensive but there’s a lot of places that only allow students to live, may not be that close to the school though.

I would definitely recommend manayunk / roxborough area . About a 13-15 minute drive on the expressway to and from Villanova and has various shops, restaurants , parks to choose from . A lot of young professionals and undergrad / grad students in the area with apartments for reasonable prices . That’s where I currently reside . Ardmore / Bryn Mawr / bala cynwd are some great areas that are close to University but can be pricey.

Thank you guys! I was looking at Bryn Mawr/Ardmore area and I was like, WOW! expensive!! I'll definitely take a look at Manayunk/Roxborough area :)

Anyone have an idea how the grading scale works at Villanova? Like, I know some nursing schools you're only allowed to get one C for the entire program and it must be 77% or higher in one class.

It’s a 73% To pass and you can one fail one class

@Yazmeenbp Thank you for the quick reply. Do you know what happens if we get less than 73% in one class? Also, where did you find this information? I'm searching everywhere but I cannot find anything.

If you Google “Villanova nursing handbook” you’ll find the entire rules of the nursing program. If you get less than a 73 you can retake one class if you fail it or another class you get kicked out of the program. I read the rule book and also it’s like the nursing school I went to and many others that only give you one failure.

@Yazmeenbp Thank you, that's very helpful. I'm going to Google that. You have gone through Nursing School before?

Yes I have. I stopped my junior year due to a family death. So I know a lot about the way nursing school is and a lot of the classes ?
