Hey I’m taking Microbiology, Nutrition, and Developmental Psychology through the Summer semester but once I get all my grades in I’m planning on applying!

Do you still have any pre-req’s left to finish?

I actually finished all my pre-reqs in the Spring semester of this year. Where are you taking your pre-reqs?

I’m taking Microbiology through SUNY Brockport, Psych through Erie county community college, and Nutrition through Buffalo State. I’m going to be a senior this Fall and hoping to join and ABSN program right after. Do you have any healthcare experience?

I’m actually a nursing assistant in an ICU in Philadelphia. So during this pandemic I gained very good experience.

did you apply already ? I know their early application ends at the end of June and regular application period ends at the beginning of October I think.

I work as a nursing assistant at my local ICU too! Although I couldn’t work during the pandemic as I live in a small town and they had to lay off a lot of people due to lack of PPE and not enough patients being admitted.
Also I’m applying in August once I’m almost done with my Summer classes so they’ll be on my transcripts and I’ll have more pre-reqs done

What a coincidence haha. And that’s amazing I can’t wait to start this new journey next year. What’s your degree going to be in ? Have you contacted the admissions department? They are all very nice.

I’m majoring in Health and Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood and a minor in Psychology. What about you?

And yeah I’ve been in contact with -------------------- and I went to a virtual ABSN information session last month and everyone seemed super nice! What are you stats if you don’t mind me asking?

And yeah I’ve been in contact with ------------------- and I went to a virtual ABSN information session last month and everyone seemed super nice! What are you stats if you don’t mind me asking?

So my science GPA is a 3.4 my major is in liberal arts and minor in psychology. And last year I was waitlisted because it took awhile for me to get one of my schools to send my paperwork over. So it’s a good chance I may get in because all of the students who were waitlisted get offered to be considered for the following year.

so the school knows me pretty well LOL.

Hahah this is my first time applying so I’m honestly so nervous. My pre-req GPA for Villanova should be around a 3.6 so I’m hoping it will all go well!

You’ll do great ! Villanova has a pretty impressive program compared to other schools. They like when you keep in contact with them about what’s going on, meaning the classes your going to take and etc, so I would suggested emailing ---------------- about they classes your taking and etc.

Yeah I’ve been keeping in regular contact with ------------------- asking questions and letting her know when I changed my class schedule for this Summer since I was taking Statistics before I realized it’s be too much coupled with another class! Hopefully we’ll both do well and who knows, maybe we’ll be in the same cohort together?!
