I haven’t seen a discussion yet for Villanova BSN EXPRESS for May of 2021, so I decided to write one?. Has anyone applied or going to apply ?

Hi everyone! I have been lurking on all these posts for a few months now ? but I decided to make an account because I just got accepted to Villanova! This is the only school I applied to - needless to say I was a bit nervous - LOL. I did my undergrad at West Chester University with a BA in Psych, psych research experience and 3.5 GPA. I initially applied early decision, but I only had 1 prerequisite atm (A in Chemistry) to show for it, so they were kind enough to let me work on more science prerequisites and offer a decision based upon those grades. I just requested to join the facebook group. I am looking forward to meeting all of you when the program starts!

Are you guys taking Pathophysiology at Villanova in the Spring or somewhere else?

Taking it now at Delaware county. I just couldn’t justify the extra price at nova, and it was approved by Kristin

What did you have to do to get it approved? Just send her an email with the course description and syllabus? My home university now only offers Pathophysiology as a 2 credit course, so I’m slightly concerned. My local community college has it with 3 credits, but it’d just be so much easier to just take with my university in the Spring so that everything is together!

Yep, just the syllabus! I do recall some sort of debate over the number of credits, I think I was approved because mine is currently 4 credits. I’d suggest getting the syllabus both from your home university and the CC and send both to ask which. She said that we can take it elsewhere but students who had, said they wished they had taken it at Villanova. I personally am willing to just over-study the class in order to save the money

Do you know what the cost is to take it at Villanova?

Take it on 

“portage learning “ (Google it )  it’s through Geneva college and all online and cheaper than any community college and still approved by Villanova. It’s like 700$ or something like that and that’s including the study material 

it’s a online start when you want and finish when you can. I finished the class in 3 weeks
