Victory College of Nursing - Fort Lauderdale LPN to RN

Published

Hey everyone. Has anyone attended or graduated from this program? They have LPN to RN, RN to BSN program and both are approved and licensed by the state of Florida.

Did you end up going to Victory?

Okay , I will be starting January 10th it’s hybrid . Online class and clinical in person for 7 days 12hrs … 8 week sessions for classes you can take prerequisites at any place and or through them . Cost 19k with prerequisites. I think 26 without

Good luck. I’d like to know how it is once you start pros & cons.

This is a NEW school. Here is the initial date for approval from the FBON 12/05/2019.  That is just for the paperwork with the framework of the program....I gotta tell you that implementing a curriculum that covers all the Registered Nurse needs to know, the educational activities (lecture, lab simulations, and clinical objectives while locking in the hospital placements takes many months to years to perfect. They do not have a  record of the NCLEX rate because no one , I mean NO ONE from this school - has graduated or  taken NCLEX. They are not accredited by ACEN or CCNE. You will be the experiment

Would you buy a car from someone who has never finished building a working car... Oh, they. Just designed where the seats are going to be. But The engine. oh my where should we put it ..who knows?

I am aware thank you ! They are approved on the board of nursing … However,  ever school have to have their 1st cohort .

I do have best wishes for you but while every school has their first cohort, there are no breaks made if the program does not meet the NCLEX standards. Certain things in a programs history with their students and curriculum help a program improve:

1) State Board results of the items most students passed or failed failed

2)  Mountain Measurement report that compares what a school's students knew for particular questions compared to all RN schools.

3)  standardized testing such as ATI or HESI that helps students identify their learning needs DURING a program and at the end

4) An experienced Dean and faculty who have experience with developing learning activities, readings etc. to develop a foundation of knowledge that will help the student build on.

Here is the "linkd" in site for the owner/director of Victory:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/esther-kekii-812a83b1/

She has never taught before...is a nurse practitioner and graduated from a for profit college. So I guess she started her own 'for-profit' school.  And her linkd in profile for her time in a pharmacy position and healthcare association cannot be accessed. This is unusual

How long is the ADN program if you have all the prerequisites  complete?

Hi it’s 8 months

Do you have an email I can message you? I had a couple more questions if that's okay.
