when i saw the update of vermont center process center , the processing date for schedule A 1-140 didn't move at all in the last two month, they only stayed processing cases filing on March 26. the processing date is far more behind other centers, like California and Taxis. does anyone kown what is the reason for the delay in vermont? i thought it would be faster than other centers, however, it don't seem like that.
Yes, you are right Suzzane. There are some people getting approval even if the visa bulletin is at a stand still.
I am also confused as to why they are asking for rfe and the USCIS sent out another set of forms to file to us. This is according to my Agency. Does this mean another long wait after this has been submitted to the USCIS? I am getting tired of waiting.... and filing forms but what else can I do, but wait.
After we fill out the forms, do you how long will it take the USCIS to make a decision?
Happy news for candidates having USCIS centre vermont pd dates are now 14 may .I was tired of same dates from past 9 months, to me it appears to be a gift of HAPPY NEW YEAR.Hope to hear from others soon bye bye.:rotfl:
They must have been very, very busy over the Christmas and New Year period to clear the backlog
For what it's worth, I've also been told by my recruitment company (and I've posted this elsewhere) that they've had approval for nurses with applications from June/July 2005.
Cheers

Great news that Vermont Service Center's processing date for Eb3 Schedule A moved to May 14, 2005 from being stucked at March 29, 2005.
Mine was filed at Vermont on July 1, 2005 and was approved on November 18, 2005. I now have an NVC case number and my agency is just waiting for the visa application fee bill to arrive.
If Vermont is terribly fast in processing compared to other service centers, how 'bout Nebraska? I read some posts that Nebraska is also doing fast in processing. Anyway, I am just curious on this, my lawyer forwarded my I-140 to USCISlast December 17, 2005 but in my created porfolio (where to verify our case status) there's another box where the receipt number LINxxxxxxxxxx is located . it stated there "last updated" 01-03-06. What does 01-03-06 represent? Does the counting of my I-140 approval at USCIS will start on this date? who will give my "priority date"? Is 365 days to 18 months is just the very normal pace from the application (USCIS )to the interviews( embassy)?thank you.
Vermont is not currently the fastest, Nebraska is the fastest lately. But I have not checked numbers in a few weeks. Nothing starts to count until you have actual approval for the I-140. The receipt only means that, a receipt. That is just the date that they put your file together, if you think of it in those terms.
Once you get approval on the I-140, then a bill will be sent, and will be required to be paid, before the Packet 3(the old name for it) will be sent, with more forms to fill out. The final packet, will have the interview materials, etc.
Thank you suzanne for your reply, who ever is the fastest,i think it is better to wait patiently. we sometimes murmur, confuse & even discourage, but even our lawyers could no longer touch our papers once it was on the processed already. However, we can verify the status but only up to that stage. I always agree that our steps is really ordained by HIM. For we know that God causes all thingsto work together for good to those who love HIM. He is the author of miracles. God bless us all!

Sorry, but others have gotten approval with July dates already from Vermont. Cehck with your agency, there may have been some issue with your file.
And again, please use proper English grammar so that others may read your posts.
