Hello guys! I need help. This is my second time to renew my license in Vermont, however due to lack of employment opportunity here in PI, I havent been into any work experience since getting my license last Dec 2006.Would the VT-BON renew my license?
Advice please..Thanks!
I have seen my license renewed and now active. Two days ago it was "Inactive". I'm really happyI thought they have not received my application or some information that I have given was incorrect, the highest degree of education, for example, I ticked Diploma which should have been Baccalaureate. Just keep on checking their website for update. :typing By the way, I mailed my application first week of March through registered mail.
i forgot to ask.. have you already received ur renewed license via mail?
hello everyone. i haven't posted on this forum in a long time. am renewing my VT license (for the first time), and have some questions:
-i am sending the renewal fee in the form of bank draft. do i just course my transaction at any bank of my own choosing? or is there a particular bank that does this for VT Board of Nursing? sorry, i have no idea.
-as to the renewal form, section E:
my answer to question #1 is: I didn't graduate from an RN educational program within the last 5 years (since I completed nursing in 2003). i am confused about question #2: since I did not complete any Board approved RN Re-entry program. I am not sure if that'll be taken against me. FYI, i have practiced my profession for at least 120 days within the last 5 years. do i really need to complete #2? and how do i do that?
i just passed the nclex for vermont last february 2010.and i wonder why my license is only good until march 31, 2011 or 13 months.
is it true that they only issue license good for 13 months?
Each state has their own renewal dates. Some use DOB some use odd year for RN and even year for LPN or visa versa
http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/forms/Nursingfaqs.pdfDoesn't require CEUS to renew license, but that is a great point if a nurse is looking to endorse to another state they do have to meet the CEU requirement.
If you don't practice for 5 yrs a refresher course will be required.
HI.. i need your advice
i am having a problem answering the renewal form Section E: #4 and #5 regarding nursing practice... coz i am not practicing my nursing profession ....... i am currently working as a Marketing executive which is too far from my profession ....
coz its too hard to find a nursing job here in the philippines u will be the one who will pay to your employer hospital for them to let you work as a volunteer nurse in their hospital and aside from that they wont give you salary all through out ur volunteer period which will last for 6mos to 1 year... that is the reason why i am now working in a different field... i work before as a staff nurse but thats was 2 years&9mos ago.... according to the form within the last two years of experience...
what will i do can i be able to renew my license since i am not working as a nurse now???? can any body help me i am soo scared to what will happen and i dont want to take another exam... please i need your advice..thanks: :crying2:crying2:
Hi. I would just like to ask what are the requirements for the renewal of a Vermont license? Mine would expire March 2011. How much is the renewal fee? Is there a need for continuing education units. I have an on going hospital experience in the Philippines for more than 2 years already. This is my first time to renew since I just had my Vermont license last December 2010 after having it endorsed from California. Thanks a lot
