HEY GUYS! IM STARTING VEEB IN September I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.IS THE PROGRAM VERY INTENSE AND WHERE DO THEY DO CLINICALS?

Hi for the students that attend Veeb right now when you attend clinicians does the clinical site ask you for covid vaccination or do they just take your temperature?

Hi @BMP1117 I want to thank you for being an alumni that reaches out and help other nursing students I hope you were able to get everything situated so u can take the NCLEX I know the school was making all the students wait  for everyone to complete all there hours which can be frustrating were u able to take the NCLEX yet or no?

Hey @BeKind2 So the Covid vaccines are mandatory in order for you to be able to attend the clinical sites. You will have to email the school a copy of your vaccination card when they ask for it. When you get to the clinical site one of the teachers will take your temperature.

Hi @Lisha33 thank you for the info I really need information on this are u in your 1st 2nd or third semester at veeb? I'm asking Because I wanted to know when u registered for the school an u paid the 2k deposit did they ask u for the vaccine card during before u could get accepted or did they wait to ask u for the vaccine card after the semester started right before clinicals

@Lisha33 do they mandate that u get a 3rd booster shot or do they accept the 2 shots?

I’m in the 3rd trimester. They didn’t ask for the card until a few weeks before clinicals started. Make sure all of your vaccines are up to date as well. The school is disorganized so they could very well ask you for a copy of the card sooner.

Do they make u get a 3rd booster shot?

In the first semester of Veeb you start clinical the first week of school right?

@BeKind2 Thank you! Yes they do ask you for the 3rd booster shot and you’ll have to send an updated copy of the Covid card. We didn’t start clinicals until October.

Thank you so much for the information! Do u have to take a medical dosages test at the beginning  of every class? @Lisha33 

 I'm sorry if I'm bothering u with questions I have more questions and it's just so much easier to answer questions over the phone instead of typing all of this I know alot of people love to text I hate texting LOL unless it's like 1 sentence or a couple words it's so much easier to speak instead of writing these long essays let me know are u willing to exchange phone numbers so I can ask u more about Veeb? if you don't want to that is OK I understand if any other Veeb students or alumni is willing to exchange numbers so I can ask some more questions about Veeb I would really appreciate it I would like to know if u have put a NG tube in a patient? I am a bit worried about doing that I don't want to hurt any pts I want to know if they teach u Phlebotomy I have so many questions

Hi @BeKind once you start clinical you will be trained by the instructors. I have not learned how to insert a NGT, other skills were taught. I was just like you before I started Veeb.don't over worry too much you will be fine. At orientation they will go through everything the first day. Sections are also rotated one week regular class and the other week clinicals. They do not teach phlebotomy but there is so much more you will learn.

I thought every week we had clinical so u taught me something new I heard that In the 2nd Semester  and in the 3rd semester u have to take a medical dosage math calculation test at the beginning  of each class is that true? If your not in the 2nd or 3rd semester u may not know which I understand but if anyone knows please let me know
