VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

DO U drive? if u drive i am not asking for money at all. U drive your car for 2 weeks and I will drive my truck for 2 weeks. if i can get a third person who drives that will be even better cause each of us will only drive everyother month which will save money in our pockets and ease from the hassle of driving everyday. and plus not to mention the fact that we wont have to depend on eachother cause if one of us can make it one day or is running late, you still will have your own vechicle to make it out there. I live somewhere between flatlands and East 105 street.

Well, I am taking your offer into consideration. But, i do not if I am living too far from your house.And i think the money should negotionable a little bit. This saturday i will be at Veeb for the physical also.:rolleyes::cool::typing:zzzzz:confused:

hey george, i m a driver i am interested in your car pool. i agree with your proposal and is defintely willing to take turns driving with you. considering the fact that I dont drive in real bad snow i can make them up by driving an extra 2 or 3 days added on to my 2 weeks of driving or i will just take the train. i m sure we can work something out. i will private message you.

I have a tuition question.

So do I pay the 9,500 in one shot? Or is it by semester and if so how much?

Every semester. You pay roughly $3,600 for 2nd and 3rd semesters. They $1,000 deposit is deducted from 1st semester's tuition so it will be about $2,600.

hi

I wanted to know if after the first semester, how long after could u take the state board to becoome a certified nurse aid? I currently just have a weekend job, but i think it is go to become to much for me to work every weekend plus go to scholl 5 days a week. i rather work a per diem contract shift and get at least everyother sat/sun off.

As soon as 1st semester is done, you can apply with the counselor for the CNA exam.

Finally WENT THROUGH THE MEDICAL OVER THE WEEKEND. I WAITED ON LINE FOR ABOUT 1 hour 40 minutes. was not eexpecting that at all. but once i got thru, they did the blood work, phyiscal, and urine very quickly. cant wait until orientation. I wonder how that is going to be like. do they split us up in groups or gather all 200 of us in the same room?

Unfortunately VEEB is not big enough to house all 200 students in one room so you guys will be split into 3 or 4 classes.

It is correct.The 30th of June is the right date for the orientation. At 1 pm sharp.
