Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I tested March 16th, did well on the pre-extrance,submitted references and still no acceptance letter. I've called every week to see if my name is on a list for anything that's been sent out and nothing. If anyone tested on or around the same day could you please share with me if you've received or heard anything regarding those who tested in our batch. Thanks

Hi Changemyworld,
I tested March 17th, and I also call from time to time and nothing has been mailed out to me either, so we are both in the same boat. I basically gave up on VEEB at this point, and I already looked into other alternatives. If I do eventually get something from them I'll be happy but I'm not sure what I should do. I'll let you know if I get anything and please do the same.
I did SNYA and it was the best thing I ever did! You have to work 2 years for one of their 65 nursing homes (which are 1199 affiliated) 1199 will reimburse you if you decide to go for your RN license....You have to work part time, full time, or perdiem. SNYA pays for your tuition so that means no loans, financial aid, or paying out of pocket.Yay!! You can't beat that with a bat!
Sounds good, where do you work now? Did they give you a job as soon you graduated?
Hi More CowBell,Did you have to submit a copy of your acceptance letter, NYS Drivers License or ID, 3 pay stubs, and school bill/invoice to SYNA?
@ Future Lpn 2011, I didn't submit anything. I applied on their website, received a confirmation e-mail to attend orientation. Everything you mentioned is required after orientation......
