VCU DNAP 2020 Applicants

Hi everyone!

wanted to start a thread for ppl applying to VCU DNAP program starting January 2020, where we can all share our stats and talk through the application process! Goodluck to all ?

Does anybody remember them saying during the interview that they fill all the spots outside of Richmond and once those are filled then the Richmond spots are filled? It does not seem like many people have been called for the Richmond site compared to the amount of slots there.

This question will probably increase my anxiety. For the students that have been accepted, how many interviewed on May 2nd? I really don't think it matters, but I was just curious to see if they are sort of accepting by interview dates.

I just heard someone else got into NOVA.

No one can get in NOVA without being the first choice. It’s the hardest site to get in. Last year, 400 applied VCA, over 200 are for NOVA.

Richmond fam, don't give up hope! I got the call for Richmond a little bit ago and I interviewed way back on April 17th.

I interviewed May 2nd and got a call on Monday for Roanoke. There doesn't seem to be a specific order, but it sounds like people are still getting calls!

Anyone knows how many spots left for the Richmond site?

I interviewed May 2nd for Richmond site and still nothing ?

I got the call today around 4 pm that I got in to NOVA which was my first choice !!!!! For those still waiting: Amanda stated they are traveling for the anatomy camp. She said making the calls is her favorite part of the job when I hinted that I had been impatiently waiting . Then hinted that they are still making calls actively... when I called back after missing it she said she couldn’t answer because she was calling another student . They are in the office until 5 pm each day . So done for today likely.. but just so you know .

I interviewed May 1st and felt pretty good after the interview .

Hope this helps ease some nerves . The wait is brutal . Stay positive !!

Can someone post when they receive the acceptance email? I’m paranoid that I’m going to miss it! ?
