Vanderbilt University PMHNP Fall 2024

Hi! I wanted to network, discuss, and share with others regarding MSN (RN) applicants for Vanderbilt University MSN Fall 2024 program.  I applied for PMHNP by priority deadline and am awaiting admission decisions! I was wonder what everyone's GPA is looking like or if anyone has experience with the application process?

I know that applicants who applied to the FNP program were notified of acceptances yesterday afternoon. Not sure when Adult Gero, Psych and other specialties will hear, would be great if they released them all at the same time...   Good luck everyone.

Hey guys! I didn't see anything about when to hear back on the website. I heard mid Feb from the first respondent in this thread. Is there a website link or something like that anywhere saying 12/15? Or did you guys hear from people you knew who attended the program in the past?

If you applied before the 10/15 deadline, they announced they would be providing decisions by mid-dec.

Thank you for the info! I did apply before 10/15. Did you get an email or something like that saying mid December? I don't think I've gotten anything...

Did you apply for PMHNP? Now I'm super nervous haha! I expected mid feb and planned not to worry till February. Also wanna make sure it's direct entry not prespecialty. You are already an RN right?

After some snooping around from the past year's threads, I found that prespeciaty was announced admissions decisions in mid December and all direct entries were from mid Feb to early March as well as post masters certificates. Are they changing things up this year? It seems pre specialty usually hear back sooner than direct entry.

They emailed me today that I was accepted and that decisions would officially be out by the end of this week

Oh my goodness congrats! I didn't get any email.... ?? I'm super nervous now. Do you mind sharing when did you apply?
