Did you apply to PreSpecialty instead of Direct Entry?

I asked her and she said only a few people were contacted regarding their specific circumstances but the majority of the applications were not reviewed yet. I'm so happy for you tho!!

I emailed the admissions counselor and I have attached her response. Since this thread is for PMHNP Direct Entry (specifically for those who already has a BSN), I would assume mid December would be the PreSpecialty program decision release, not for direct entry. Guys we can relax till maybe January or mid Feb.

I'm so nervous. If y'all hear anything could you please let us know here? ?

After some snooping around from the past year's threads, I found that prespeciaty was announced admissions decisions in mid December and all direct entries were from mid Feb to early March as well as post masters certificates. Are they changing things up this year? It seems pre specialty usually hear back sooner than direct entry.

Did you apply for PMHNP? Now I'm super nervous haha! I expected mid feb and planned not to worry till February. Also wanna make sure it's direct entry not prespecialty. You are already an RN right?

Hey guys! I didn't see anything about when to hear back on the website. I heard mid Feb from the first respondent in this thread. Is there a website link or something like that anywhere saying 12/15? Or did you guys hear from people you knew who attended the program in the past?

Did you submit already? I've finished my application but I'm too anxious to submit. I'll wait till tomorrow to build myself some confidence and affirmation hehe.

Hey Kela! So glad you've created this thread! I'm also applying to Vanderbilts MSN PMHNP program for Fall 2024. So nervous and excited! My GPA at my ABSN is 4.0 and my undergrad GPA is around 3.5. Do you have any clinical experiences in psych?
