Vanderbilt Pre-Specialty MSN 2023

I'm applying to the Vanderbilt University Fall 2023 Pre-specialty MSN program and I just wanted to open up a topic since I hadn't seen one yet. I would appreciate and advice, tips, FAQ, experiences, etc.

I'm currently in another MA program and am finishing it in the Summer and remember last year most my decisions came out around lunch/afternoon times!

I got my Vandy acceptance around then too, a year and a half ago. It was 11am ?? Excited for you all. These forums bring me joy for the profession.

Hello,

My anxiety got the best of me today, and I emailed asking.  I’m applying for the direct entry, and stated that specifically when I asked about a time frame for admission decisions. The office of admissions replied back the following:

“Decisions releases will begin tomorrow and will continue to be released in to January.”

Just to clarify, that’s for direct entry, not pre-specialty?

It seems like all of pre speciality is tomorrow and direct entry ranges from tomorrow till January!

OMG y’all I came out of work and saw all the emails from this thread and though decisions were in ?? I’m not even going to take my phone into work tomorrow in case I didn’t get in I don’t want to find out there LOL ? Tomorrow is our short day where we work straight through until 2pm with back to back patients so hopefully that will keep me from spinning too much! Good luck to everyone, I hope we all get in??????
