I'm applying to the Vanderbilt University Fall 2023 Pre-specialty MSN program and I just wanted to open up a topic since I hadn't seen one yet. I would appreciate and advice, tips, FAQ, experiences, etc.

Does anyone know about the new MN degree at Vandy? Would the next step be to get a doctorate (DNP) only, as opposed to the direct entry prespecialty where you would get a MSN? Is there direct acceptance into the DNP at Vandy and is that a lot longer than prespecialty route? Thanks!

If I remember correctly from the online information session, they said mid-December

YAY! That's great because I saw in previous years the decisions came out in February.

The mid-December timeframe was for those of us who applied by the October 15th Priority Deadline
