  1. Yes, the physical exam course did change. The RN-entry and GEPNs took all three courses together this year.
  2. For my class (last year's GEPN), we only had 68 finish (started with 70, but 2 left), but they told us that was an usually small cohort. This year's GEPN is currently at 102. They had more but some left in the Fall.
  3. Currently, the RN-entry students take the 3-Ps at the same time as the rising GEPNs. It sounds like that may be different from the year you went through possibly. As it stands currently, they have no Summer commitments beforehand.
  4. GEPN year, yes, you do have Summer courses, a full 10-week semester. For the Summer session between specialty years (for both GEPN and RN-entry), some tracks allow you to do clinical hours to reduce the number of hours you have to knock off in the Fall and Spring. I was in last year's GEPN, and am now in the NP portion, in the event anyone has any questions, I can likely answer them.
  5. Just for background, not all the specialties have an equal number of students. For instance, the current FNP cohort is 20 people and PMHNP is 14.
  6. I'm in this year's cohort. Started with 70, currently we have 69.
  7. Yes, I've been there. I was accepted to Emory, Vanderbilt, Penn, Yale and Case Western. I ultimately choose Yale because I'm from New England, but narrowing down the choices can be very stressful. Best of luck.
  8. Yale has a full time shuttle operation all over the city.
  9. I'm in this year's GEPN program. They have all been in New Haven.
  10. Has anyone thought about the pros/cons of Yale dorms, Yale apartments, or off-campus (non-university) apartments? Never too early to plan.
  11. Does any one know how big the cohort for GEPN is?
  12. I didn't apply either, but assumed there would be some scholarship money in general.
  13. My other acceptances included generous merit scholarships, so disappointing that Yale offered none. Going to be a hard decision.
  14. Was your scholarship amount in your acceptance letter?
  15. Accepted for Adult Primary Care.
